Affiliated Police Associations of Westchester Back up Byrne

October 12, 2018 /  Somers, NY – Following extensive candidate interviews, the Affiliated Police Associations (APA) of Westchester announced its endorsements for state level candidates seeking office this November. Assemblyman Kevin Byrne was among the candidates who received the organization’s strong endorsement.   “On behalf of the more than 4,000 law enforcement officers of the Affiliated Police Associations of Westchester, I am proud to announce our endorsement of Assemblyman Kevin Byrne in his bid for re-election to the New York State Assembly’s 94th District.” said Detective Keith Olson, President of the Affiliated Police Associations of Westchester, “Kevin has always been a staunch supporter of law enforcement and his commitment to law and order makes the APA pleased to offer him our support. We urge all of our friends and family to get out and vote for Kevin Byrne on Tuesday, November 6th.”  “Throughout my time in the Assembly, I have always made supporting and protecting our first responders, especially our members of law enforcement, a top priority.” said Byrne “These brave men and women put their lives on the line to protect our communities. They deserve a strong representative in Albany who will back them up. I thank President Olsen, the entire APA board and the many law enforcement organizations it represents for their endorsement.”  The Affiliated Police Associations (APA) of Westchester County  has been incorporated since 1989. The APA works together to build a strong PBA across the county and provide a forum for PBA’s to discuss situations across their boundaries.
