Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R,C,I,SAM,ROS-Mahopac) visited residents of The Plaza at Clover Lake in Patterson on Wednesday, Sept. 8 to give a presentation on the latest news from the state capitol.

“I’ve always been a believer in meeting people where they are,” said Byrne. “For months and months, many of these residents were unable to visit in person with loved ones and were deprived of their ability to directly access their government representatives. Many of these seniors are members of our nation’s greatest generation. Their health and safety matter, and I was honored to visit with them to listen to their concerns. I thank the Plaza at Clover Lake for the invitation and the opportunity to meet with their wonderful residents.”

During his presentation, Byrne gave a breakdown of the state’s $212 billion budget and shared his thoughts on the need for our state to move forward following the resignation of disgraced former Gov. Cuomo. He also let residents know his plans and priorities to help improve the state and county moving forward. This was followed by a question and answer session with the residents regarding various state, county and local issues.
