CARMEL, NY – On Wednesday, Assemblyman Byrne had the honor of welcoming dozens of new American Citizens to a naturalization ceremony at the Putnam County Historical Court House hosted by the Hon. Judge John W. Sweeney, Jr. and the Hon. Michael Bartolotti Putnam County Clerk.
“It’s beautiful to see so many people, after years of hard work, earn their U.S. citizenship.” Byrne said, “Our country and our state is truly a giant melting pot, and that diversity is one of our greatest strengths. Never forget where you came from, keep your heritage close, and together we can make this great place we all call home, even greater.”
