Lake Mohegan Firefighters Back Byrne

Somers, NY / August 4, 2020 – The brave men and women of the Lake Mohegan Professional Firefighters Local 2956 have cast their Lott with Assemblyman Kevin Byrne, providing their strong endorsement in his effort to seek re-election. This is the most recent endorsement adding to a long list of already received from various first responder organizations that serve the community.

In a letter to the Assemblyman announcing the endorsement, I.A.F.F. Local 2956 President Kenneth Snee said, “Your history as a first responder and your commitment to public service allows us to confidently back you in your political endeavors!” Snee added, “The Lake Mohegan Professional Firefighters have been proudly serving the towns of Yorktown and Cortlandt Manor for over 35 years. We urge all our past and present members, families and friends to show support in your campaign efforts.”

“It is a tremendous honor to once again run with the support of theses courageous men and women. As someone who both worked and volunteered as a first responder long before I held public office, this is definitely special. We owe all our first responders a debt of gratitude for the sacrifices they make on a regular basis. I thank them for their support, and their continue faith and trust in me.”

To date, Assemblyman Byrne has already received numerous endorsements from various first responder organizations including the Westchester Affiliated Police Associations, Law Enforcement Employees Benevolent Association, Westchester County Corrections Officers Benevolent Association, and the Westchester County Correction Superior Officers Association.
