Wednesday, August 1st, I.A.F.F. Local 2956 President Paul C. Denault called Assemblyman Byrne and informed him that “on behalf of the Lake Mohegan Professional Fire Fighters I.A.F.F. Local 2956, I am proud to announce our endorsement for your reelection in New York State’s 94th Assembly District.”
Denault lauded Assemblyman Byrne for his dedication and hard work to support the fire service throughout his first term in office, further stating that “Assemblyman Byrne has been, and will continue to be, a positive attribute to Professional Fire Fighters by continuously having our best interest in mind. The Lake Mohegan Professional Fire Fighters look forward to maintaining a positive working relationship and we are confident that Assemblyman Byrne is the right person for the position.”
Assemblyman Byrne graciously accepted the endorsement stating “This endorsement means a great deal to me and the people I presently represent. Serving as an advocate for those who make it their life’s work to serve and protect us, has been one of the greatest honors I have as a member of the New York State Assembly. We’ve accomplished a lot together in my first term. I look forward to continuing our work together to ensure our firefighters have the representation they deserve in Albany.”
