August 18, 2020 / New York, NY – New York State Court Officers Association (NYSCOA) are the most recent organization to join the growing list of first responder organizations endorsing Assemblyman Kevin Byrne in his bid for re-election.
NYSCOA President Dennis Quirk formally announced the endorsement in a letter to the Assemblyman. Assemblyman Byrne offered his appreciation stating, “As each year passes, the men and women who wear the badge to protect and serve in our state courts are asked to do more. They witness first-hand as problems arise from bad policies like the elimination of cash bail, and understand the need to have officials who stand up for our brave men and women in law enforcement. I thank them for their continued trust in me, and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure I do not let them down.”
According to the NYSCOA website, “New York State Court Officers are charged with providing security services and maintaining order within court facilities statewide. The New York State Court Officers Association is the labor union proudly representing these dedicated men and women.”
