June, 2020 / Somers, NY – Earlier this month, Louis A. Picani, President & Principal Officer of Teamsters Local No. 456, proudly announced his organization’s strong endorsement of New York State Assemblyman Kevin Byrne in his bid to seek re-election this November.
“Teamsters Local 456 is proud to endorse Kevin Byrne for the 94th Assembly District” said Picani. “Kevin has always stood up for concerns of working men and women in his district and throughout New York State. He stands up for what is right and always make sure the Brothers and Sisters working in labor are heard.”
Assemblyman Byrne expressed his gratitude to Picani and the Teamsters stating “Since elected in 2016, I have been privileged to work with and build important relationships with our working men and women in Labor. The ability to safely work and earn a living here in New York State is vital to keeping our skilled workforce here in our home state,” said Byrne. “I’m grateful to both Louis Picani and his members for their endorsement. The hard-working members of the Teamsters have some of the best specialized training around and I am honored to have their support in this year’s election.”
