Assemblyman Kevin Byrne is pleased to report that after hosting seven of his informal “Coffee with Kevin” constituent forums around the district, he completed two “Trailblazing with Byrne” forums, as well. On Saturday, October 19th Byrne hosted a walk in Franklin Delano Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown and on Saturday October 26th he hosted an additional walk along the Putnam Trailway in Carmel.

“We are blessed to have so many local trails, parks and open spaces in our community.  It’s refreshing to see so many people take advantage of these beautiful public assets. Thank you to everyone who came by to participate in some heart healthy exercise and positive discussion about how we can improve our state and our community” said Assemblyman Kevin Byrne.

Each walk provided every day residents an opportunity to participate in a heart healthy activity while sharing their ideas, thoughts and concerns on how we can improve our state and community. At the same time, residents were able to realize the many benefits our beautiful parks and trails provide on a regular basis.
