July 13, 2020 / Somers, NY – Assemblyman Kevin Byrne’s re-election campaign is proud to announce it secured the endorsement of the Westchester County Corrections Benevolent Association (COBA).

In a letter to the Assemblyman declaring the endorsement, Westchester County COBA President Neil Pellone added “You have proven to be a staunch advocate of Unions and Organized Labor, your co-sponsoring of the Community Heroes Protection Act demonstrates your support for not only Corrections, but for all first responders. Our members are fortunate to have you represent them in the Assembly, and your constituents will truly benefit with your re-election.”

“The men and women who work in corrections have one of the most challenging jobs around. They often work in a dangerous atmosphere that places them around inmates throughout their entire shift. Our law enforcement officers who work in corrections deserve our respect and appreciation. I thank them for their continued support and for their strong endorsement.”
