(October 12, 2020) – The Westchester Hispanic Law Enforcement Association (WHLEA) has announced their endorsement of Assemblyman Kevin Byrne for re-election in the 94th assembly district. The organization touted the Assemblyman’s unwavering commitment to supporting law enforcement as a primary reason for supporting his candidacy.

“You have always backed the blue,” President Eddie Martinez and Chairman Hector Lopez said in their letter announcing WHLEA’s support of the Assemblyman, “We believe you will continue to put the citizens and members of the law enforcement community first.”

Assemblyman Byrne thanked the WHLEA for their endorsement. “The WHLEA continues to do great work in our communities, bringing together local, state, and federal law enforcement officials.
